Since founding The SOL Project in 2007, Kimberly and Twlia have been unwavering in their mission to combat the targeted marketing of tobacco in Black communities and advocate for health equity, smoke-free environments, and social justice. Their work has profoundly impacted countless lives, fostering healthier communities across the region.
This well-deserved recognition is a testament to their leadership and tireless dedication to change. They will be honored alongside several other outstanding Black Changemakers on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the Unity Change Makers Celebration at Sacramento State University.
