UCSF Champions Tobacco-Free Pharmacies at State Capitol
On April 23, 2025, UCSF School of Pharmacy faculty members Robin Corelli, PharmD, and Lisa Kroon, PharmD, took a stand for public health by testifying at the California State Capitol in support of Assembly Bill 957. If passed, AB 957 would ban the sale of cigarettes and other tobacco products in pharmacies across the state — a major step toward making tobacco-free pharmacies the norm in California.
