National Public Health Week 2026
April 6th marks the start of National Public Health Week. Hosted annually since 1995 by the American Public Health Association (APHA), this year’s event is built around a theme of Ready. Set. Action!
Each year, National Public Health Week brings together public health professionals, students, supporters and organizations from around the world to celebrate and advance public health and the many roles it plays in improving our lives, safeguarding our families and strengthening our communities. Hosted at venues across the country, National Public Health Week offers an opportunity for public health supporters to get involved through advertising and engagement campaigns centered this year on the concept: Good Health Doesn’t Just Happen.
